GODSENT defeated Worst Players 2-1 at the SL i-League Invitational #1 (16-14 on Mirage, 11-16 on Cobblestone, and 16-6 on Overpass). GODSENT and Worst Players kicked off the lower bracket semi-final best of three on Mirage and the T-sided GODSENT were able to win the first three rounds. Although Worst Players secured two quick rounds, GODSENT started to run away with it and had a 11-2 lead. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev & company trailed 4-11 at halftime. The pistol round of the second half went the way of the Swedes and they extended their lead to 13-4 after grabbing another round. Worst Players woke up after this point and made it 14-15 but lost the last round and the map.
Cobblestone was chosen as the second map and Worst Players earned the pistol round on the T-side after s1mple's entry kill. The Ukrainians lost a 1vs2 against Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson in the fourth round and GODSENT then tied it at 3-3. Mathias "pauf" Köhler showed up in the eighth round with a clutch of his own as he won a 1vs3 but the half ended 9-6 in favor of the Ukrainian team. s1mple once again went big in the pistol round as he got a triple kill and his team led 12-6 after winning the anti-eco rounds. Just like in the first half GODSENT secured the fourth round of the half and got back into the match but Worst Players, unfazed, closed it out with a 16-11 score.
The last map of the series was Overpass where GODSENT started out on the CT-side and grabbed the first round. The first half kicked off back-and-forth as Worst Players was busy exploding with frag after frag but the Ukrainians only got six rounds in the first half. GODSENT had a dominating start to the second half, losing only two players in the first four rounds. GODSENT didn't mess around and won the map and the series (16-6).
